Could You Future Proof Your Brand?

California Garderns Logo

One of the questions I always ask my clients are:

What services/products might you offer in the future?

Why is that important? – they wonder.

So that your branding, including your logo, is future-proof.

Good branding, grows with your business.

Take this example of a landscaping company:

California Gardens.

(not a real company)

3 years (or 3 months or 10 years) after they invested in their branding, California Gardens expands to Arizona state.

What happens with their name and logo now?

Or take ‘The Sock Shoppe’ who also sell hair accessories, costume jewellery, custom kipas…

A short sighted name causes problems for marketing.

Takeaway?

Future-proof your brand.
